Alright, it was hilarious reading my extremely drunk journal, but now it's just retarded.

WHAT'S GOING DOWN, FOOLS?!

It's summer! It's finally fucking summer! But unfortunately, I have summer school, working 3 part-time jobs, and most of my friends are working almost full-time jobs, so not too many opportunities to do much. So far, I have only gone to San Francisco (but nothing special cuz I go there all the time) and various places around San Jose. I haven't figured out plans for this weekend, but I want to eat barbecued foods and get all kinds of drunk. With those criteria, I know I can find something to do. I'm sure it'll work out. Week after that, gonna go to Santa Cruz to enjoy the beach. And then eventually, go to Los Angeles, maybe go to Las Vegas, and in September, go camping cuz every other weekend was booked to the max.

I still have not been doing much art. I haven't been inspired lately. But the other day, I thought, "Fuck me, there is art to be made and I'm just not doing it because I am a douche. Time to fix that." Another problem is that in this new place I'm living in for the summer has a ridiculously small desk. I tried painting outside in the patio, but I work better at night and mosquitoes do too.

Graphic design... I'm a little hesitant about continuing with graphic design. It's just a lot of tedious Illustrator and Photoshop work. It does not help me improve as an artist. I just sit there and click click click. It almost feels like it doesn't really take any particular skill to do this sort of work. I told my high school art teacher about this dilemma and she said it's because I have too much fine arts talent for this kind of major and so it feels incomplete. I think she's right. But I'm just going to get my BFA in Graphic Design and then see what happens. I want to do more refined pieces. I really hope I will have a job with more complex assignments than logo design and letterheads otherwise I really will go back to school for a different degree.
