I finally got pissed at myself for not making any personal pieces since November.
No real meaning, it was a random idea. It started with the dude, then worked on the background, didn't like the first idea, went for this yellow and red palette knifing, spray painted white, drew the vulture, spray painted the orange pattern, drew the bridge, and collaged.
It wasn't going to be such a complete piece, but it turned out that way and it was a lot of fun.
Ahh, it's pieces like this that I think really sum up you as an artist. Maybe I'm getting it all wrong but I find this style represents YOU and kinda defines YOU I sound like a psychologist now haha! This is great work - as always I love the modern graphical touch mixed with the tradtional media. I can picture this on a giant billboard of as a wall mural ^_^
Thank you! I was actually starting to feel really disappointed by this piece since my half-assed Ragnarok Online piece has gotten much more traffic than this piece and it's been up longer. But I should suck it up and realize that this is DeviantArt and I started out as drawing a bunch of fanart and that's how most of my DevWatchers know me. Anyway, thank you again for your comment and I feel much more confident with this style. : D
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
